Boston trip OFF

The match at York Street, originally scheduled to kick off later this evening (19.45), was condemned unplayable after intense snowfall of late caused the playing surface to freeze over, producing a significantly increased risk of injury to the players should the match have gone ahead.

The pitch underwent a pitch inspection earlier today, and subsequently match officials decided that the blanket of slow - and more significantly, ice -that had fallen upon Boston’s York Street ground had left them with no option but to postpone the game.

No further date has been issued for the replay. NCM will, as ever, keep you informed.
