Bolly Set To Delay Hernia Op?

Bolland has been suffering with a hernia problem since mid February, but has continued to battle well for the side and has given a number of superb performances considering the injury.

He was booked in to have the operation this week so he would have plenty of time to recover so he is fit and ready for pre-season training, but Billy Dearden may need to call on Bolland with injuries denying him the services of Michael Brough and Darren Caskey.

Both have missed the last 2 games, and it is not known yet if they could return for Saturday's home match with Tranmere Rovers.

Bolland has admitted he has no qualms about delaying the operation, especially if it helps Notts securing a place in the top 10 in Division 2.
