Bolly Back On The Goal Trail

The tough tackling midfielder is not renound for his goalscoring, but the 2 goals he has scored have turned out to be crackers.

His effort at Luton has a clinical and superb right foot shot from inside the area, while his first ever goal was a screamer against Chesterfield at Saltergate. Notts lost 2-1 that day, and Bolland gave Notts the lead. The ball fell to him 18 yards out and he unleashed a screaming drive which hammered into the net via the underside of the crossbar.

It may come as quite a surprise to many Notts fans it has taken him this long to register first of the season. He could not stop scoring during pre-season, he hit goals in wins over Ilkeston and Hucknall as well as netting on the Cornwall tour.

Bolland has been one of Notts' most consistant performers so far this season, and no doubt he enjoyed the feeling of scoring and will want more of the same.
