Notts County player of the season Neal Bishop has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at Meadow Lane.
The midfielder has agreed the extended deal ahead of a hernia operation which he has needed for the last four or five weeks of the season.
Having captained the side in the last few games Bishop continued his combative displays in midfield which have become his trademark since he joined on a free transfer from Barnet two years ago.
