Birchall...Stuck in at Stockport

The 22-year-old has bags of talent and it is no surprise, as a product of Arsenal's reputable youth system.

He made his mark in the Football League at Wycombe Wanderers scoring four times in eleven league appearences while at Adams Park during a loan spell.

He joined Mansfield touted as a great signing but never flourished being pushed in and out of the team.

This never brought the best of the youngster but he seems to have settled to life at Barnet, entering his second season under boss Paul Fairclough.

Inconsitency still plagues Birchall but he is starting to show a sustained level of performance at Undehill.

A great performance this weekend, will do no harm to his confidence.
