Billy- We were 'brave'

With Paul Heffernan's third minute goal proving to be the winner at Boundary Park, Notts claimed only their second away win this season, and Billy Dearden was very pleased with the way his players performed. He handed special praise to his defence.

Happy for now
He told the Nottingham Evening Post: "The defenders did okay and threw their bodies in the way in the final 15 minutes when we were done to ten men,"

"They all had a mentality of ?we won't get beat' and that really spurred the defenders on as Oldham attacked."

"The keeper has done really well. He's kept another clean sheet and saved a penalty. I thought we should have been three or four up in the first half. I'm really proud of them for a brave performance."

Let's hope both clubs can sort out their off-field problems very soon.
