Billy - "Our Season Isn't Over Yet"

Following succesive defeats to Northampton and Swindon after a run on 6 games unbeaten Notts had been sucked back into the relegation dogfight and the win over Huddersfield was a welcome victory which has given Notts a 8 point cushion between themselves and the bottom 4.

"There is a responsibility there for us. We owe it to every team at the bottom of the table not to allow ourselves to canter to the end of the season." Dearden told the Evening Post.

"We still have to pick up a few points of our own to be certain. Another win or three or four draws should be enough.

"But our season isn't over if and when we get those points. And I won't accept anyone believing that it is.

"There are still loads of teams fighting it out to avoid the drop and we can have a significant say in the outcome of the relegation fight.

"Peterborough and Cheltenham will both be looking for points to get them out of trouble and obviously we still have to play both of them.

"The other teams in and around the relegation zone will be expecting us to perform against them to the best of our ability.

"We would expect other teams to do the same for us."
