But with the deal set to be completed by the end of next week, at long last everyone involved with the club can fully concentrate on matters on the pitch, and not off it.
"Football has been overshadowed for too long at Meadow Lane, by events off the pitch," Bhatia told the Evening Post.
"We want to change that, we want to make football the most important factor again.
"We want to encourage more people to come down to the club, there is enormous potential there." Added the 41 year old.
