Beat the manager is a simple, FREE, real life prediction game that takes seconds to play and if you guess correctly gives you something to be smug about for days...

To
play all you have to do is make a prediction for each game your cherished team play.
The closer the prediction is to the actual result, the more points you score.
Each week you play against fellow team supporters and all the teams in your division This is your chance to show the world that you can beat the manager...PLAY

The 'Notts. County Beat The Manager' prediction league is a fun free-to-enter game where you are invited to predict the results of all Notts. County's league games during the season. You gain points according to the accuracy of your predictions, and compete against fellow fans for the prestigious 'Beat The Manager' title and also a cash prize!
The first time you enter the 'Beat The Manager' game, you will be required to register, providing your name, address, email address, a 'Beat The Manager' team name and access password.
An added bonus means that for each team's league you enter, you are automatically entered into the prediction game for the division in which Magpies are playing this season i.e. all players in the Notts. County, Barnsley, Blackpool leagues etc. are entered into the Nationwide League Division Two league. Your predictions for your specific team are used in the division-wide games.
Once you have entered the game by supplying your designated password, you can submit your prediction by clicking on the 'Predict' button to the left. The next league match to be played by Notts. County will be displayed. Simply select your predicted scoreline from the drop-down boxes and click on the 'Submit' button. Your prediction will be entered and confirmed to you.
Changing your prediction works in almost identical fashion to your first submission. Simply click on the 'Predict' button, select your predicted scoreline from the drop-down boxes and click on the 'Change' button. Your prediction will be changed and confirmed to you once again.
You can submit, and subsequently change, your prediction as often as you like up until half-an-hour before the scheduled kick-off time of the selected game. Should you enter a prediction later than this deadline, it will be submitted as your entry for the game following the one displayed
Should a game be abandoned or postponed, any prediction you have made will be carried forward and used when the game is replayed. You will of course be able to change this prediction when it becomes the next scheduled game to be played.
You are awarded points depending on the accuracy of your score. If you predict the score correctly you are awarded a 'win', and will receive 12 points. Guessing the correct result gives you a 'draw' worth 4 points. Predict the wrong result, however, and you get no points (a 'loss'). There is a chance to win bonus points; 2 if you correctly guess Notts. County's number of goals, and one point for their opponent's score. Here is a table showing exactly what each prediction could net you:

The league positions for both the team and division leagues will be determined by the following criteria in order:
1. Most number of points scored (obviously!).
2. Most number of predictions made (more guesses wins in this game!).
3. Most number of correct scores predicted.
4. Crikey, looks like a good old-fashioned toss of a coin!.
Footy MAD reserve the right to remove any players from the league who are found to have contravened the rules. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Use of inappropriate language in a user and/or team name.
- Entering a team league more than once by using false names and aliases etc.
Should you have any dispute regarding your league position, prediction entries etc., please feel free to email the Footy-Mad prediction team ( predictions@footymad.com ), clearly stating your full name and your team name. We will endeavour to check out your dispute, and email you back accordingly with our decision, which will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Notts. County prediction league is intended as a light-hearted, fun game to be enjoyed by all Notts. County fans, and as such Footy MAD cannot be held responsible for any loss, directly or indirectly, caused by use of this prediction game, E & O accepted.
