Armstrong-Holmes takes the reigns

Supporter's Trust member Armstrong-Holmes will resume control after Jeff Moore resigned yesterday.

With Techincal Director Howard Wilkinson also levcaing his post, Peter Dennis has been named as a director.

In a week that has shaken the Notts club, immediate action has been taken in an attempt to fix the broken club.

days and with County set to host Dagenham & Redbridge at Meadow Lane on Saturday, it is hoped the new appointments will temporarily stablilise the ship as County look to return to winning ways on the pitch this weekend.

Armstrong-Holmes has already urged the club to consider investment as they look to climb their way from the fourth tier of English football.

But for now, fans will be concerned with one thing and one thing only- winning on Saturday.

Yet to record a victory in their opening five games, boss Steve Thompson finds himself under increasing to bring results with the Magpies struggling in 21st position in the League Two table.
