Another Injury Blow

Ramsden - Could Be Out For 2-3 Weeks
Ramsden picked up the injury in the first half of last night's 1-1 draw with Swindon Town, and leaves Dearden with a massive defensive headache ahead of the visit of Mansfield Town next Saturday with Nick Fenton and Ian Richardson already out due to suspension.

Craig Ireland is the only fit centre half only the books at the moment, and at the moment things get from bad to worse for the Notts boss:

"It is a massive problem because we could end up without three of our back four against Mansfield," Dearden told Radio Nottingham

Dearden Left With More Defensive Problems
"We could also end up very short of players who can play in the centre of defence, very short indeed.

"It is a blow to see any player get injured, but the last thing we needed was for another defender to pick up a problem.

"We will have to see how it is today, but the early indications are that it could be a thigh strain.

"If that is the case, then, in normal circumstances, you are talking about two to three weeks."
he added.

Dearden has virtually ruled out the option of getting someone in on loan, but he may have to look at that option ahead of the local derby with The Stags.

The only other option Dearden can look at is playing Danny Stone at centre half against The Stags, and bringing Richard Holmes in at right back.
