The Magpies may look to try once more to bring the Port Vale game forward from March 4th to the free Saturday, but don't count your chickens just yet!

Notts tried to bring the Vale game to this weekend with both sides not having a match, but Vale were not too keen on the idea and both sides got a free weekend.

But as things look Notts will have a free weekend during the busy Christmas period, which could be a bonus should Notts be bogged under with injuries.
