Billy Dearden
When Billy Dearden first came to Mansfield, what were your thoughts about him?

I hadn't really heard much of him but after looking at some info about him, he had seemed to have had a decent managerial background, and after a few games in charge he seemed to fit into the club well.He seemed like he could get the best out of the team.

What do you think Dearden's strong points as a Manager are?

Chris Greenacre
He seems to get the best out of the players, and he can make some shrewd investments, as we have seen at Field Mill with Chris Greenacre?

Why do you think Dearden did so well at Mansfield?

He's a good motivator and got the best out of the lads, he bought half of the first team from the youth to full squad at the same time which meant that most of them knew each others strong points well so they had already gelled as a unit

What do you think Dearden will do to the Notts County team to get them playing well?

If Storrie gives him the time he needs County will benefit the rewards, he will soon get them playing how they are capable, instead of the well under par performances that they are giving now, he'll get them motivated soon enough

What do you think Bill should do to help him and the team?

As I don't know too much about County, I can't give a detailed answer, but he should try and get the team "bonded" so to speak so that they can learn each others high and low points in their games and play to their strengths

What does Billy need to do to bring success to Notts?

He needs the chairman to give the time and money that is needed to build a strong team, with players like Caskey, Allsop and Cas, not many new faces should need to brought in

What were your thoughts on his appointment at Notts?

Well, I was disappointed to see him leave Mansfield, but with Watkiss doing so well, we shouldnt miss him too much. I thought he was going to be going anyway, especially after we lost at Leicester, but I ddn't think he would go to such a rival ass Notts County, at least he didn't go to the Spirites

When someone says "Notts County" what springs to mind?

The 2nd Division League Table, well, the bottom half of it anyway!

Why do you think Notts are in this poor league position?

With two poor managers so far this season, the team hasn't gelled for some reason, but the future can only get better, and with Dearden in charge, it shouldn't be long before it does!
