'All part of the roller-coaster of supporting Notts'

Last updated : 12 September 2007 By Gary Moss

Totally depressed, Totally outclassed and Totally £55 quid worse off. It was awful, what's really worrying is just how much better they were.

Chedozie after defeat at MK Dons

Nothing to do with tactics or style of play tonight, we were simply outplayed by a better team. Their forward line was faster and sharper and their defence could handle set pieces.

Jackal2 takes a neutral stance on Dons game

They passed around us, they out-muscled us, and all we could do was use last-ditch defending tactics and hit aimless balls around all night. I have sympathy for the midfield ... we may as well play a 5-0-5 formation because the ball just sails past them.

Raddypie66 on Thommo's tactics- or lack of them

I don't care how many people tell me to "get behind the team and stop moaning"; I'm fed up to the back teeth of Steve Thompson.

H

Club: In disarray
e's an incompetent manager, and he is running this club into the ground.

GET HIM OUT.

The_Pie_Man has lost his patience

Our club is a shambles from top to bottom. A totally clueless Board, apparently completely commercially unaware. A Trust comprised of very many but not very much. A Manager, about whom more than enough has been said already; and a Team, none of whom have all three of the three basic requirements to meet the job specification for a professional footballer, speed, ball skills, and comprehension of the team's strategy.

Suicidalpie- not a good word to say

We have some decent players - they need managing and motivating properly.

We do not have any leadership, any vision or any innovation/ideas.

Pies4u explains the problem

Forget protesting to get Thommo out, we need to get the trust out to take this club forward, and I'm sure if Pearson's offer was to be accepted then it wouldn't be long before he sacked Thommo and got a proper manager in, for the future of this club, TRUST OUT!

JustLikeJuve wants a fresh start

I know that Jeff Moore has received a lot of abuse on this board but I for one, want to thank him for being prepared to step into a role which was always going to be extremely difficult, and one which I believe few others would have been willing to take on. He has seen us through some difficult times and I acknowledge that there are more difficult times yet to be encountered. There is still much work to do at Notts County and I hope that we can find someone willing to buy us and make a substantial investment in the club so that we can move upwards and out of this terrible League Two.

Thewatchman fairly signs off Moore

People complained that there was two many directors. People thought the appointment of Joanna Adams was of no use whatsoever. People thought Moore was an idiot and Wilkinson was no longer any use, playing or non-

Thmpson: Taking the flack
playing.

The three above have gone and apparently it's bad news?!?!

Rob_NCM questions critical fans

Acting chairman I could understand more if it was an existing director but someone from outside?

I know he is on the trust board but I can't help feeling that we have moved too quickly without any long term interests.

If you all care about the club as much as you say then on Saturday be out in your numbers to get behind the players and show you care.
No more bickering

Gbltodu rallies the troops

Bit shocked by what's going on but all part of the roller-coaster of supporting Notts!

Norwichpie not too dis-heartened

Saturday is a day when all real Notts fans MUST go down and give the team full support. After all we all want one aim-the success of Notts County and we just disagree on the methods to achieve that goal. For instance I could not disagree more with Soccerman in his support for Thompson but at the same time I admire his total dedication to the Club.

For everyone's sake let's get down there in numbers on Saturday give the team full support and show any potential new investor that there are a lot of fans who greatly care about the club.
