After Match Reaction From The Two Managers

Notts picked up their first point away from home since mid January at Brentford with a workman like display at Boundary Park, and the Magpies manager felt his side deserved the point they picked up. Meanwhile, Oldham were denied their second home win of the year having won at home just once since November 2nd.

"I thought we deserved something because we worked ever so hard and created quite a few chances," Said Dearden.

"It was nice to get a point away - it's our first for a little while - and full credit to the lads for their spirit.

"We conceded a very soft goal and our keeper showed a bit of indecision but after that he was excellent.

"And our goal was down to a great free kick from Darren Caskey but you expect that because he has such quality." Added Dearden.

Meanwhile the Oldham boss Iain Dowie was disappointed his side let 2 points drop yesterday, and they remain in 4th place.

"We gave away a needless freekick, didn't organise quickly enough, didn't effect the freekick and then didn't pick up the man in the box. Even when the lad's header was saved no-one was there to pick up the pieces and clear." Said Dowie.
