“Pre-season has been good, it’s been well planned out both on the training ground and in the matches,” he said.
“The lads have all got minutes under their belt and we are looking really sharp.
“We have finished games strongly and we said that after the Wigan game.
“The fitness levels looked excellent and that’s great because we’ve worked really, really, hard.
“It’s paying dividends and I just can’t wait for Coventry now.”
