A Year On...

Frank Strang and Raj Bhatia's bid is days away from finally being completed, with a few legal formalities still to be sorted and then the process of coming out of administration starts which Paul Finnity believes could be around six weeks.

The news did come as a shock to Magpies fans when entering administration, following Albert Scardino's takeover many believed they had seen the back of financial problems at Meadow Lane, and on the back of "The Great Escape" it was a bitter pill to swallow.

Despite a number of promises of being out of administration by "Start of the Season" "End of October" and "Before Christmas", a year on Notts remain in the hands of Paul Finnity, but not for much longer.

It has been hard for all involved at the club during the past year, but there is light at the end of the tunnell now, and it has been espicially tough on Billy Dearden and his players, who have grafted their way through the season so well despite all the problems off the pitch.
