A legend departs..

The 20-year-old - a firm NCM favourite throughout his time at the club - made just 3 first team appearences during his four month spell at Meadow Lane, after first signing for the club September under then-manager Gary Mills (pictured below right).

He twice came close to moves away from Notts - first joining Conference side Northwich Victoria, before a move to Irish side Sligo Rovers fell through due to transfer window iregularities.

The former Derby County schoolboy was a regular for the reserve side while he was here and he impressed for the second string, showing signs of a very skillful player, with an excellent range of passing.

However, the midfielder was never quite able to make the breakthrough into the first team - making all his 3 first team appearences as a substitute, not to mention being an unused replacement on a number of occasions.

Earlier 'Faz' confirmed his departure to the official site as only he can.

"I am going to have a week off then probably go and play in Ireland," he observed.

Notts' loss is Ireland's gain.

We wish Faz - who was affectionally known to the Notts faithful as 'the Bosnian' - all the best in his future career.
