With everyone targeting success in League Two for the Magpies in 2007/08, what have fans had to endure by way of points and places in recent seasons?

It was a decade ago that Notts began a season under Sam Allardyce that has gone down, in record breaking fashion, as one of the greatest in the clubs history from this very division.

But surely the majority of this lot finally need rectifying and Notts can look back, under Steve Thompson, in similar vein to a decade ago?

1997/98: League Two - 99 points, Champions

2000/01: League One - 69 points, 8th

2001/02: League One - 50 points, 19th

2002/03: League One - 55 points, 15th

2004/05: League Two - 52 points, 19th

2005/06: League Two - 52 points, 21st

2006/07: League Two - 62 points, 13th

2007/08: League Two - ????????
