Bolland: Out
Ian Richardson picks his first Notts side since being officially confirmed as Gary Mills' successor, and the 34-year-old has to contend without a number of key men for the trip down South.

Richardson's hopes of naming an unchanged side to the one that fought so bravely in defeat against Middlesborough last Saturday have been scuppered.

Midfielder Paul Bolland picked up a mystery virus on Thursday and is definetly out of the trip. Left back Rob Ullathorne is another absentee, as he serves his one-match suspension due to five bookings.

Defender Julien Baudet returns after serving a his ban last Saturday, while striker Gavin Gordon - who sustained a knee injury last weekend - is also expected to be fit.

David Pipe and Mike Whitlow will fight it out to replace Ullathorne, though both are certain to start elsewhere if not playing left back. Stefan Oakes is expected to return to the team in place of Bolland.

Right winger Tony Scully will face one of his many former clubs, hoping to continue the good form he showed last week.

Notts (probable): Deeney; Pipe, Wilson, Baudet, Whitlow; Scully, Gill, Oakes, Palmer; Gordon, Hurst.

Subs (from): Henderson, McIntyre, Friars, McFaul, Kuduzovic, Williams, Harrad.
