Notts County

Steady Eddie: He's still sidelined!
Player/boss Ian Richardson is almost certain to name an unchanged side from the one that beat Scunthorpe so convincingly at the weekend.

David Pipe is the only slight doubt with a hamstring problem, but the Welsh under-21 star is expected to start.

Richardson is again without himself (knee), skipper Mike Whitlow (knee), Mike Edwards (cruciate) and Steve Scoffham (everything under the sun).

He will be hoping his side can deliver their sixth consecutive clean sheet in the league to equal a club record.

Notts (probable): Deeney; McFaul, Baudet, Wilson, Ullathorne; Pipe, Gill, Oakes, Scully; Gordon, Hurst.

Subs (from): Henderson, Friars, Bolland, Palmer, Williams, Harrad.

Maccesfield Town

Experienced Maccesfield boss Brian Horton is also likely to name an unchanged side from the one that drew at Wycombe over the weekend.

Former Notts defender Tony Barras is likely to be ruled out with a calf injury, which will be a relief to the local police keen to avoid the ugly scenes witnessed at the weekend when Ian Baraclough returned to Meadow Lane.

Former Mansfield playmaker Neil Mackenzie will line-up in midfield, while the main threat will come from in attack with top scorer Jon Parkin and captain Matt Tipton. Experienced former F*rest goalkeeper Alan Fettis will line-up between the sticks.

Maccesfield (probable): Fettis, Potter, Harsley, Parkin, Tipton, Navarro, MacKenzie, Morley, McIntyre, Swailes.

Subs: Carragher, Miles, Whitaker, Wilson, Sheron.
