Team news...vs Kidderminster Harriers

Last updated : 11 March 2005 By Rob Davies
Notts County player/boss Ian Richardson is again having to choose from a vastly-depleted squad for the visit of the on-form strugglers.

Whitlow: Ruled out
The County boss is without all FOUR of his senior centre backs. Mike Whitlow (knee) and Julien Baudet (calf) failed to recover in time, while Richardson himself (knee) and Mike Edwards (cruciate) remain on the sidelines.

This means Notts' defence will have something of a youthful look to it, with Emmet Friars joining fellow teenager Kelvin Wilson to make his first ever league start.

Elsewhere, things aren't too bad with Tony Scully (flu) the only other possible absentee on top of the long-term absences.

Steve Scoffham made his comeback this week but is still not yet match fit enough for the first team, while Gavin Gordon (broken jaw) remains sidelined.

Richardson is expected to continue with Glynn Hurst in attack despite some sub-standard performances of late.

Youth teamer Tommy Hannigan is in contention for a spot on the bench.

Notts (probable): Deeney; McFaul, Wilson, Friars, Ullathorne; Pipe, Gill, Oakes, Bolland; Hurst, Stallard.

Subs (from): Elliot, Hannigan, Palmer, Harrad, Willaims, Scully.
