Team News...Vs Bury

Last updated : 19 November 2004 By Rob Davies
Notts County's caretaker player-boss Ian Richardson will not be able to name an unchanged line-up for the third game in a row, with the injury jynx that has haunted Meadow Lane all season once again rearing its ugly head.

Whitlow: 50/50
Richardson is without arguably his best player, midfielder Stefan Oakes, who has a knee injury. Centre-back Mike Whitlow is also a major doubt, but fellow defender Julian Baudet is almost certain to play.

Should Whitlow be ruled out, Richardson himself will line-up at the heart of the defence for the first time in almost two months, after completing his recovery from a knee operation taken in September.

The player/manager is also again without left-back Rob Ullathorne (groin), meaning he is likely to stick with the 3-5-2 formation he has utilised in his opening two games.

Long-term absentees Mike Edwards (cruciate) and Steve Scoffham (leg) remain out, but Shaun Harrad is available again after suspension.

Notts
(probable): Deeney; Wilson, Baudet, Whitlow/Richardson; Pipe, Bolland, McFaul, Gill, Palmer; Gordon, Hurst.

Subs (from): Mildenhall, Friars, Richardson, Scully, O'Grady, Williams, Harrad.

Check back to NCM after tomorrow's encounter for a full match report.
