One source of disappointment for Magpies fans is that impressive Singaporean trialist Noh Alam Shah has once again been snubbed for the first-team squad, leaving his chances of landing a permanent deal at Meadow Lane looking extremely slim.

Australian Ruben Zadkovich and Chibuzor Chilaka, both impressive in the mid-week win at Gresley, also remain with the reserve side, that will be managed by COE manager John Gaunt.
Contract rebel Saul Deeney will keep goal, whilst Emmet Friars and Rob Ullathorne are two more first-teamer's that will be on show at Rocester. Brian O'Callaghan may also travel to face a strong Forest side, containing the likes of David Johnson, Neil Harris and Alan Rogers.
Tony Scully and Matthew Williams, meanwhile, both did enough in mid-week to earn recalls to the first-team squad and both will feature during tonight's match at the Earth Stadium.
New-boys Andy White, Lewis McMahon, Kevin Pilkington and Dan Martin will also be featuring in the friendly against Dave Penney's team, who boast former Magpies Nick Fenton and Paul Heffernan amongst their ever-growing ranks.
The match against Doncaster begins at 7.30pm, whilst the reserve game starts 15 minutes later at 7.45pm. Coverage for the former can be found live on Magpie World.
Squad (vs Doncaster): Pilkington; McFaul, Baudet, Wilson, Martin; Pipe, Edwards, McMahon, Gill, Palmer, Scully, Long, Williams; Gordon, White, Hurst, Scoffham.
