Notts

Bolland- Against his former club
It's not good news for County boss Gary Mills as he is without striker Gavin Gordon (ankle) and on-loan goalkeeper Wayne Henderson, who Aston Villa are not allowing to play.

The pair join Stefan Oakes, Chris Palmer and Steve Scoffham on the growing list of absentees.

The race to replace Henderson in goal is a straight fight between Steve Mildenhall, and the fit again Saul Deeney. Deeney, however, is expected to get the nod and make his first appearence of a so-far frustrating season for the Irish stopper.

Perhaps more worringly, depending on your viewpoint, is that Mills has confirmed that former Man Utd forward Matty Williams will replace Gordon upfront.

Williams, signed in March, hasn't made the best of starts to his Notts career. The nippy striker has often looked lost and has struggled to get into games. Let's hope tonight is when the 21-year-old shows us his undisputed potential.

Elsewhere, club captain Mike Whitlow's chances of making the game are rated no better than 50/50, while Mills is expected to start with a 4-4-2 formation for the first time this season.

Probable: Deeney, Edwards, Baudet, Richardson/Whitlow, Ullathorne, Pipe, Bolland, Gill, Scully, Williams, Hurst.

Subs: Mildenhall, Wilson, McIntyre, McFaul, Harrad.

Bradford

League One side Bradford are grateful for being here at all, after being on the brink of closure.

And things are looking slightly brighter for the Yorkshire outfit as, not only does it look likely they will exit the demon of administration within the next month, but they have handled the drop of a division better than most and currently lie in a lofty sixth position.

Despite getting rid of a shed-load of players over the summer, they still boast experienced former Premiership players such as Dean Windass, Nicky Sumerbee and David Wetherall.

Former Middlesborough hardman Windass will be the dangerman, though, after scoring three goals already this season. His battle with towering defender Julian Baudet promises to be a real treat.

Bradford boss Colin Todd is without on-loan striker Dele Adebola, experienced full back Wayne Arthurs and Peter Atherton.

Probable: Henderson, Holloway, Emanuel, Wetherall (c), Bower, Sumerbee, Muirhead, Crooks, Schumacher, Windass, Symes.
