Why did you start to support Notts, and not the scum over the water?
i'd been to see forest with my dad, but then went to meadow lane with a cousin of mine.the rest is history.it's all his fault !
Who has been the best player you have ever seen in a Notts shirt?
probably don masson although i only saw him in his second spell at notts, his best days for notts were definately the early seventies, before he left to go to qpr.
What was the first Notts game you ever went to?
you know what? i can't remember.
what is the best Notts game you have ever been to?
probably the fa cup 5th round tie against man city.i went down to the lane earlier that day to help clear the pitch of snow, the game nearly didn't go ahead.it did though, notts were totally outplayed! steve cherry played a blinder in goal! and gary lund popped up at the far post to tap in the winner with 5 minutes to play! and there was still time for city to hit the bar in a crazy last minute! what a game.
What is the worst Notts game you have ever been to?
regretably, it has to be swansea city. we were both in the old first division, john toshack was their manager.swansea got awarded a penalty, there was a bit of crowd trouble behind the goal and silly idiot here got arrested! i spent the next three hours in the cell under the main stand whilst notts went on to lose the game 1-0!
Who have been the best opposition you have ever seen at Meadow Lane?
probably liverpool in the eighties, notts playing first division football under sirrel and wilkinson certainly gave them a good game or two though.
Who has been the best opposition player you have ever seen down at the Lane ?
i saw george best play for fulham at the lane!, but he was past it then though.
the best player probably was klinsmann , or hoddle, both obviously playing for tottenham at the time
What has been the best away ground you have ever been to?
man utd.although i did go to the new camp, barcelona whilst in spain once. unfortunately notts weren't playing at the time!. infact no one was!
What has been the worst away ground you have ever been to?
it has to be doncaster
What has been your funniest moment down at Notts County?
seeing mr magpie (sadly no longer with us) and that fox of wolves nearly get to fisty cuffs on the half way line before the game.the police had to separate them!
Best Moment as a Notts fan?
well there are a few, winning at wembley under warnock wasn't bad, but probably winning against cambridge at meadow lane to secure our place in the old first division under jimmy sirrel
Worst Moment as a Notts fan?
losing at fulham in on of our relagation seasons

Do you think Dearden is the right man for the job?
yes i do, and whilst ever he wants to do the job then he should be allowed to continue without the constant threat of the sack.thats no good for no one
What kind of players do you think notts need in order to get out of relegtion?
i dont think that they need new players right now. its all down to confidence and at the moment this team is sky high.
And finally, Where do you think Notts will end up this season?
one place above relegation will suit me fine. if that is achieved then it will be like winning the cup!
