Which stand do you usually sit in ? In my office listening through the net
during the week, in the supermarket on Saturday's (I live in Canada)
Where are you from ? Born in Holland, lived in Clifton for 15 years.
How long have you been a Notts Fan ? Since the late '77
Why did you start to support Notts, and not the scum over the water ? I remember watching Grandstand, hearing Fword we're promoted and picked the "underdog" in Nottingham.
Who has been the best player you have ever seen in a Notts shirt ? Iain McCulloch
What was the first Notts game you ever went to ? Can't remember clearly, someone took a group of us at a birthday party when I was a kid. The first game I remember was v. Chelsea, we lost 2-3 in '79-'80 (I think Clive Walker got a hat-trick)
What is the best Notts game you have ever been to ? Notts 3 Man Utd. 2
('82-'83) McParland scored the winner with a misdirected cross!!! Also I
can still vividly remember Raddy Avramovic's penalty save from John
Robertson in the Temple of Sin ('81-'82).
What is the worst Notts game you have ever been to ? Too many! I have
horrible memories of losing the Anglo Scottish Cup to Chesterfield in extra
time because they scored from a move started with a throw in and all the
notts players were protesting because they thought the scorer was off side
(you can't be from a throw in apparently).
Who have been the best opposition you have ever seen at Meadow Lane ?
Funnily enough I can't really remember anyone standing out in the 80's
(lived in Canada during the 90's)
Who has been the best opposition player you have ever seen down at the Lane
? Keegan (Southampton)
What has been the best away ground you have ever been to ? Maine Road
(didn't go to many away games)
What has been the worst away ground you have ever been to ? Oxford was a tip as I recall
What has been your funniest moment down at Notts County ? Early 80's, got
outplayed by Arsenal for 80 minutes, and then we squeaked 2 goals in the
last few minutes...on Match of the Day as I recall!
Best Moment as a Notts fan ? Winning away at Chealsea to get promoted.
Worst Moment as a Notts fan ? Liverpool 0-0 ('83-'84), they we're champions, we were relegated...Liverpool fans were obnoxious.
Which player have you been most impressed with this season, if any? Haven't seen them play, Hefferman sounds a good prospect though.
Which player( s ) would you like to see Dearden not picking on a regular
basis ? Most of the current first XI !!!

Do you think Dearden is the right man for the job ? I think so, but he'll
need time remember Sam A. took a bit of time to sort things out.
What kind of players do you think Notts need in order to get out of
relegation ? Ones that show more passion...match reports make the current
ones sound like they're comatosed, Caskey needs in help in midfield (a bit
of "bite"), the defence appears to be a shambles, strikers need a supply
line.
And finally, Where do you think Notts will end up this season? I think we're
going to get relegated without an influx of new blood.
