Prediction Panel - Wycombe Wanderers

Rob_ncm - "I keep reading people saying that, as Wycombe have already guaranteed their play-off spot, we might have an easier ride. That's good to know, but if you look at it another way these players are playing for their place in those play-off games and in turn playing for what is likely to be a hefty promotion bonus.

In what could prove to be the biggest Notts match of all-time, I think we may take the lead but have a nasty feeling we'll then continue with our nasty habit of sitting back and inviting a quality side onto us. It cost us against Bradford and, with better finishing, could have against Rochdale and Accrington. We've just not had the quality or confidence to push on when we take the lead. I'd love to say I'm expecting a big performance but we've not performed all season when it matters and I just can't see it starting now. Prove me wrong, lads..."

- "This is a tough call! Dare not predict anything other than a win. Hope we sneak it 1 - 0, think we might well get stuffed though. Can't see Wycombe relaxing or taking it easy, think they want as many points as possibly and they will be up for it. We lack the bottle for a fight and the manager has "chucked his chips in" - so the signs are not good."

"Why have Notts let it get this far? Unfortunately none of the players seem to have that big game mentality so desperately needed at times like these. For instance, a win over Mansfield would have done us, likewise Wrexham. These have been the two worse sides all year yet we got just one point out of them in the recent meetings. This Wycombe one is a big game, but Notts don't do those. I can only see defeat, and probably relegation now. Depressing eh?"

"I think, or I at least hope that Notts will raise their game for this one. We have been let down so many times this season, and unfortunately I can see the same again. I believe we will see a spirited performance, but I doubt it will be enough to overcome a strong Wycombe team."
