Fans not happy

351 Notts County supporters made the the relatively short trip to a cold London Road, but could only watch as their side was routinely beaten 2-0 by Mark Wright's Peterborough side.

But, if Gudjon Thordarson and his team were expecting any sympathy from the loyal bunch of Magpies fans, they were in for a shock.

We're not happy!

Many voiced their displeasure at the finish at what they had witnessed, while those who returned to log-on to the NCM Messageboard were only to continue stating their unhappiness at the way the team is currently performing.

Here's just a few snippets of what has been written post-Peterborough.

"Once again, Notts "performed" abysmally in front of their ever decreasing away following. I recall one attempt on target all night from Notts, that being a 26 yard free kick from Baudet deep into the second half.

"The game was atrocious, as Notts seemed to be playing a "play where you like" formation, with no shape or balance whatsoever."

"Pilkington was unlucky with the second goal, the ball hit a bad bit of ground and instead of going forward towards Pilkington it stopped.

"That would not have happened at Meadow Lane. Also Wilson played ok having to cover for the other two. The disappointing thing again was the complete lack of discipline. 6 bookings in a game that didn't have a bad tackle, shocking once again. The manager has a lot to answer for!"

"Just got home from Peterborough, where Notts responded to a very poor display at Torquay......by being almost as bad again.

They were being booed by the 250 or so travelling supporters well before the final whistle, then roundly booed off the field at the end...and they totally deserved it."
