Fans: Club cheated from Wilson deal

The player completed a move to Championship outfit Preston North End a week ago after two years of astonishing progress with the club.

However, whilst the club’s fans have no qualms with the player wanting to further his career away from Meadow Lane, it seems that tensions have arisen regarding the fee received for the Strelley-born defender’s services.

Despite the club receiving a reported payment of £150,000 along with future instalments that double the value, over half – sixty per cent, in fact – of the club’s supporters believe that the player’s overall value far surpasses the actual fee received from the deal.

This result falls directly in-line with recent comments from Gudjon Thordarson claiming the decision to sell without listening to further offers for the player was a hasty one on the board’s part.
