Chris Casper's Bury find themselves in amongst a play-off battle this season. Just three points away from the top seven, the Shakers will be looking to force their way inside over the next month as they face fellow contenders Stockport, Hartlepool, Darlington and Lincoln all at Gigg Lane.

Casper...Changed things around this term
After a disappointing start it looked as if Bury would be entangled in an awkward relegation fight, but recent form has transformed their season.

With only two league wins to their name at the end of September, things looked glum early on. But, a spirited display at Sincil Bank kick started their season following a 2-0 win over Lincoln.

Turn around of the season came with the arrival of striker Glynn Hurst on the scene. Combining well with Andy Bishop has seen the Manchester side score the goals required for play-off's. There is every reason for Bury fans to be optimistic ahead of this seasons run in.

Young goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has also been a shining light for Casper. On loan from Premiership Manchester City, the youngster has shown all the ingredients of becoming a top class stopper during his time at Gigg Lane.
