Last updated : 28 December 2007 By Gary Moss and Paul Smith
Kevin Pilkington. Was awarded man-of-the match at Meadow Lane but no goalkeeper who concedes two should get this accolade. He had a fairly good game making two great diving saves but was also beaten from 2 yards out. 7

L
Hunt...Defended well throughout
ee Canoville.
In NCM's big battle he found it tough to contain pacey wDons winger Lloyd Dyer, especially in the first half. Dyaer got past him and created numerous chances. After the brea, Canoville improved and stuck to his task well. 6

Adam Tann.
Led by example. Toiled hard and won some vital tackles. It must still be questioned at the bvack as Notts conceded two goals from central areas. He must marshall the back four better. A strong display nonetheless. 7

Stephen Hunt.
Won his headers and defended well throughout including one last ditch tackle with the game tied at 1-1. Like Tann, he must work on his organisation. 7

Austin McCann.
Caught out of position on several occassions. For the Dins equaliser he was caught standing still too. He felt more reliable than Mayo but still did not look 100 per cent comfortable. May need time to bed back into the defence. 6

Andy Parkinson.
Cretae dthe opening goal with a splendid druibble. Started really lively after a surprise recall to the side. Showed his quality but faded badly. 6
Bucther...NCM Star Man

Richard Butcher. STAR MAN.
His best gamje so far for the club. He gets better every game and looks more and more like the player we wanted from Posh. Keeps scoring golas and works so hard. Has so much energy and wins all the second balls. Superb. 9

Neil MacKenzie.
Not his best of days by a long shot. Forced a good save from a trademark free-kick but added little else. Jaded and looks in need of a rest. 6

Gary Silk.
In the side to stop Donss skipper Keith Andrews and failed to do so. His passing was sloppy and he was often indecisive. He was over-ran. This was a poor showing. 5

Myles Weston.
Simply did not get the ball enough. When he was in possession he was the most dangerous player on the park. He lifted the crowd to their feet . He must still work on his final ball but he has
Dudfield...Worked his socks off
massive potential. 7

Lawrie Dudfield.
Ran Butcher close for Star Man. standing up well to the test of playing as a lone striker. Worked his socks off and started the move for the goal. Some great touches that wouldn't be out of plce in the Premiership but he needs to score more goals. 8

Subs:

Jason Lee
(for Dudfield, 80). Little time to make an impact apart from giving away four free-kicks. 6
