- "I can see this being a very even game. But I am sure Notts can just about win this match. Ian McParland loves his derby games and he will desperate to settle a score for what happened on his first game in charge. I expect another passionate home performance and with the Stags' well documented problems in defence, I think we will score twice with Danny Crow getting one. He is a top finisher and I think he will add to his tally after his slight drought."

- "Mansfield really do struggle at the back while Notts are looking very tidy in recent weeks. Danny Crow and Ryan Jarvis are the key to this game. If they can produce, it will be a Notts win. I am confident they will."

- "Looking back over recent derbies, our record is not great but the Stags are in turmoil at the moment. They have not brought in any fresh faces despite recent departures. I think our renewed confidence will just about see us through. I hope this is not the end of life in the Football League for Mansfield though."

                   1-0 Magpies

- "Four points over the Easter weekend will boost Notts' survival bid and another three points here will put distance between Notts and the bottom two. If the players are worth their salt, they'll grit their teeth for one final battle to put this season to bed, so we can keep one eye on preparations for next season. Lets get rid of the one goal hoodoo while we're at it."

3-1 Magpies

- "I have a bad track record on the prediction panel so far but hopefully I can put this right with my score against the Stags. Mansfield's away form is fairly impressive for a side struggling at the bottom and Notts' home form has not been so good. But with our recent ability to shut up shop and concede nothing even Michael Boulding isn't going to score...but will Notts? With Wayne Corden back to wind up the Stags I say yes!
