Match day program first home game

Season highlight: Hitting a fantastic goal at his former club Boston United to give Notts the lead at York Street. It came at a time when Whites defensive displays were starting to come under fire and it was a sweet strike from the six foot stopper that is a candidate for goal of the season.

Season lowlight: Receiving a barricade of abuse from a small section of Notts' travelling support during the 2-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers. It turned out to be his last appearance for the club and it is alleged White returned the verbals to those who gave him stick marking the end of his relationship with the Notts support. A few days later he was sent out on loan to Peterborough United.

Best game: White put in some good displays at the start of the season before his form dipped. He was impressive - along with the entire team - as Notts beat Championship side Southampton but his best game came during the clubs poor run of just one win in eight when he netted the winner in a 1-0 success at who are now his club, Darlington. His header late in the day secured the win but it was his defensive showing that day that caught the attention with some superb blocks and challenges the main catalyst in Notts' first clean sheet in eight games.

The Mad verdict: White was often the most talked about man at Notts throughout the season.

At times White showed he was a leader
Sometimes he could be outstanding, as with the Darlington and Southampton showings, but he tinged these displays with several mistakes that were ultimately costly.

Fans lost patience with the experienced campaigner whose own individual errors accounted for goals that decided the outcome of matches on more than one occasion. Fans can cast their minds to games including Rochdale at home, Macclesfield at home, Swindon at home, Bristol Rovers away and home amongst others.

White provided some moments of inspiration scoring the goals that won games at Rochdale and Darlington, aswell as being a good leader in the dressing room and voice in the media.

However, he will only be remembered for the blunders that proved his downfall and his move to Darlington is the right one for all concerned.
