How do you assess your sides recent form?

Since Christmas they've been playing well apart from the last couple of games really. We have lost to Bury and Rochdale recently which has dented our improved spell. We didn't have the start to the season many expected. The manager is getting his feet under the table and thenwe were doing very

very well but the bubble seems to have burst over the last couple of games.

Are people around the club looking forward to seeing the back of the season now?

We can start a fresh next season because the manager will have his own players by then. We are looking forward to that but we have got to see the season out and then after a term he will know more about the league he came into. This was a totally unknown region for us. So we are all getting used to it.

Are the play-offs out of the question?

I think we can say goodbye to any chances we had of making the play-offs. It would be nothing short of a miracle. We are now heading into March. We have got some games in hand but we need to win those and then hope that other results go for us.

Would you say you are well prepared for next season now?

I would have thought so. McCall will be bringing in lots more players in during the summer months. And with him ahving time to take a look at them , we should have the winning formula.

What are the players playing for then?

The players are playing for their contract next season. A great deal of them are coming to the end of their deal so it is quite clear that they will have to play for their future careers. They won't just sit back and wait for the end of season to come - they have got a job to do.

You've had some large crowds at home - how has that efgected the team?

Attendances have been very good. We have been getting up to 14,000 every

home game. We have always got a good travelling support as well. We get a good atmosphere. But it's like coming to Wembley for away sides here adn we have said all along the line other teams raise their game when they come here. It is their Wembley and they raise their own game.

Who is your danger man?

Peter Thorne. He is always linegring in the box and he will prove a problem to anyone. He isn't particularly quick but he is always in dangerous areas. He is our main man.

Who else should we look out for?

David Wetherhall the club captain at centre-back. He has just announced his retirement. Scott Loach a loan goalkeeper from Watford. He has been doing wonders.

What did you make of the sides last meeting?

Well we are beginning to know certain teams very well with the fixture list.
Wetherall...Announced retirement
Peter Thorne scored a hat-trick that day. I am sure Notts County will give us a tough game. It may have been one sided here but results change all teh time. There is no reason on gods earth why Notts cannot come up with somethingon Saturday.

What sort of encounter are you expecting?

A lot different. Many teams play different at home to how they do away. McCall has had the team watched. He will have a rough idea of the form.

Team News?

There should not be any dramatic changes. No injuries or supensions.

Prediction?

It will not be 3-0 again. But we do tend to play very well away from home so we could sneak it and take the double, 1-0.
