HOW HAS YOUR SEASON BEEN SO FAR?
E: Very enjoyable. City are playing good football and scoring plenty of goals from all parts of the pitch. Bearing in mind we lost our supposed main goal-scorer, Tony Thorpe, in the summer, this has been a wonderfully refreshing aspect to our play.
PR: It's been great! We have played some great football after a slow start and we are currently unbeaten in 12 games. We have been scoring goals from all

WHO SHOULD THE NOTTS FANS WATCH OUT FOR IN YOUR SIDE AND WHY?
JP: Scott Murray. Why? Because he is God, quick and lethal finisher, and 15 goals scored from the wing.
TF: Scott Murray, Right winger with 15 goals and just got a Scotland call up.
PR: Scott Murray is the obviously player to look out for in our side with his prolific goal scoring this season. He has got pace, skill and great finishing and if your defence give him any room you will be punished as he has shown many times already this season.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM YOU SIDE HAS AT THE MOMENT?
JP: Not finishing chances can be a problem if the strikers have an iffy day, and injuries are always a problem (we have about 5 important players out at the moment)
TF: Defensively we look a bit lapse, we haven’t had a clean sheet away from home, but strangely enough have only conceded 5 in 8 home games. Mansfield highlighted our problems away from home.
E: Defensively we need to be tighter. Hopefully the imminent return of Louis Carey after a lengthy lay-off (probably against Notts County on Tuesday) will see

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR MANAGER?
JP: This season, yes, Danny has been great, but if we throw it away again, the knives will be out from some fans.
TF: Danny Wilson has brought in much needed stability after a spell of managers 4 in 2 seasons. We play some lovely football at times, and our attacking prowess can be a delight to watch
E: I had my doubts at the start of the season as Danny Wilson's team selections and substitutions were often baffling. But he has now got us playing good attacking football and the team has a never-say-die attitude that has silenced my doubts for now.
WHICH HAS BEEN YOUR TEAM’S BEST MATCH THIS SEASON?
JP: Beating Chesterfield 4-0? Either that or spanking Heybridge I guess
TF: Mansfield 4 Bristol City 5 - Lucky enough to have been there, the fifth goal sent the away end into a 'better than sex' moment of madness. I should imagine your supporters smiled after the way they 'nicked' a point in injury time at your place. Oh and Mansfield got what they deserved, wasting time as much as possible meant they faced the consequences!
PR: The Mansfield game was a great performance in the last 10mins where we came back from 4-2 down to win. The way the team came back was great but to leak 4 goals against a team who were bottom of the league is very bad. The best overal team performance was away to Barnsley where we won for 4-1.
WHICH HAS BEEN YOUR TEAM’S WORST MATCH THIS SEASON?
JP: Losing to QPR I think
TF: Plymouth away, a 2-0 loss with lacklustre defending.
E: QPR at home. We lost both our forwards to injuries, and were comfortably beaten 3-1. This is the only time we've been comprehensively beaten this season, but we've really turned things around since, and QPR have moved in the opposite direction.
PR: Losing at home to QPR 3-1, we conceded 2 quick goals after the break due to poor defending. The team lost it and could get back in to the game. If we are genuine promotion contenders we should win these games.

JP: A Tuesday game, maybe 10-11 thousand
E: We are currently on an unbeaten run of twelve games. Bearing this in mind, I would expect a crowd of between 11 and 12 thousand for a Tuesday night game. PR: We have been getting good gates this season but seeing that it is a rearranged game on a Tuesday night I would imagine that this will put many people off. So there will probably only be only 9,500ish.
DO YOU HAVE ANY INJURIES TO KEY PLAYERS THAT COULD MEAN THEY MISS THE GAME?
JP: Lee Peacocks face has been broken, that might affect his playing, Kevin Amankwaah with his broken neck would be useful to have back.
TF: Nope, it will probably be the same side that started V Crewe. Possible the Louis Carey may come in for Danny Coles at the back.
E: Louis Carey is yet to play for us this season due to a long-term knee injury. But having played in the reserves last week, it is possible he will make a much needed return to our defence against Notts County on Tuesday. Goalkeeper Billy Mercer and striker Lee Matthews are both still on the treatment table and definitely won't feature, either on Tuesday or for some considerable time yet.
WHICH PLAYER WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO GET RID OF IN YOUR SQUAD AND
|
JP: From the squad there are a few dodgy players to get rid of, Keith Millen is too old and injury prone, and Billy Mercer hasn’t played for 2 years through injury and still gets paid. No one from the starting 11 though.
E: Billy Mercer. An excellent goalkeeper, but he is on high wages and has only played 25 games for us since joining three years ago for £300,000. At a time when money is so tight, he is a drain on the club's resources we simply cannot afford.
PR: Aaron Brown. He has the potential to be a great player and this was shown when WBA offered £750,000 for him in the summer of 2001. How the board must regret the decision they made when they rejected the offer. He is the biggest waste of space on the pitch. He is a bottler and doesn't live up to his potential.
WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU WILL FINISH THIS SEASON REALISTICALLY?
JP: 3rd and promoted in the playoffs. Unless we screw up Easter (again), then it will be 7th.
TF: Realistically play offs, as Cardiff and Wigan seem too strong, hopefully we can get up via the play offs.
E: Realistically I would expect us to finish in the play-off places. A bit of luck and we could possibly push for automatic promotion, but a run after Christmas similar to last season could see us agonisingly miss out once again. Too tight to call. PR: 1st. REALISTICALLY? Playoffs
SCORE PREDICTION?
JP: 2-0 City (sorry)
TF: 2-0 City (sorry!)
E: Bristol City 2 Notts County 0 (Scorers Tinnion and Murray). We were fortunate that the game was abandoned when we were trailing 1-0 in the original fixture. But, if we can win the rearranged game, hopefully this will inspire the team and supporters to believe that this sort of luck means it may just be our season.
PR: 3-1 City. Murray, Roberts, Hill
