Done Deal - Joss Labadie

Notts County have completed their latest summer signing, in the form of ex-Tranmere Rovers midfielder Joss Labadie on a one-year contract. The tenacious central midfielder struggled to feature consistently at Prenton Park last season and has struggled with his disciplinary record over the previous two seasons, which have also thrown up contrasting fortunes for Labadie on trips to Meadow Lane. In the 2010/11 season he was sent off for violent conduct as a single goal from fellow Notts new boy Enoch Showunmi gave the visitors a 1-0 win, but last season he equalised with a deflected long range free kick before a late Jeff Hughes penalty won a thriller for the Magpies. A West Bromwich Albion trainee, Labadie also spent time on loan at Shrewsbury Town and at Tranmere before his move was made permanent.
