Done Deal - Dean Leacock

Last updated : 27 June 2012 By Jacob Daniel

Notts County have completed their fourth summer signing in the former of former Derby County centre back Dean Leacock, who has penned a two-year deal at Meadow Lane. The former Fulham trainee made over one hundred appearances for Derby, including helping them win promotion to the Premier League before aiding their instant, and hilarious, relegation. Leacock spent the tail end of last season at Leyton Orient on a short-term contract, where he featured as the least calamitous of the Orient back four in their 3-0 defeat to Notts at Brisbane Road. Primarily a centre back, Leacock can also be deployed at right back or in central midfielder if you're Russell Slade and wish to shatter his confidence and render him entirely useless.
