The yearly event takes place towards the end of July at various grounds, with the event usually seeing Notts field youth and reserve players in the build up to the forthcoming season.

Joining Notts in this season's competition are Stoke City, Nottingham Forest, Burton Albion, Gresley Rovers, Derby County and West Bromwich Albion with Notts being drawn to play Stoke and West Bromwich Albion this summer.

The West Bromwich Albion match takes place on Wednesday 23rd July at Moat Ground, Church Gresley with the game kicking off at 7:30PM.

Two days later on the 25th Notts take on Stoke at Rocester FC, again kicking off at 7:30PM.

Should Notts take it through to the final tie (by finishing first or second in the league table), that will take place at Eton Park, Burton-on-Trent on Thursday 31st July.

Last year Notts beat Stoke 1-0 with Shaun Harrad scoring for The Magpies, before Notts lost their final game 2-1 to Burton Albion with Kris Nurse netting early on for Notts. Former Notts striker Sean Farrell got one of Burton's goals as they defeated a young Magpies side.
