Notts seal Demontagnac signing

Notts County manager Martin Allen has sealed his first signing as manager of the Magpies, snapping up Blackpool winger Ishmel Demontagnac on a free transfer. The 22 year-old winger has put pen to paper on a one-year deal with an option for a further year and becomes the first player to join the club this Summer.

The pacy winger struggled to break into the Tangerines' first team last season but did have successful loan spells in League Two at Chesterfield and Stockport County. Demontagnac started his career at Walsall after coming through the youth ranks at Arsenal and latterly Charlton Athletic, but despite impressing with his pace and skill at a young age, his career at the Bescot Stadium was blighted by discipline problems, with numerous sendings off and off the field incidents finally culminating into Demontagnac's release after he was arrested for a breach of the peace.
