The former Reading midfielder injured ankle ligaments against Port Vale at the start of March, but played a few games inbetween which agrivated the injury even more ruling him out for a few more weeks.

He has missed the last 2 games which have seen Notts pick up 6 points and all but secure Division 2 safety and is set to miss out against Colchester this weekend but is hoping to be back to face Tranmere next weekend and then QPR on Bank Holiday Monday at Loftus Road.

"I'm hoping to start full training next week," Caskey told the club's website.

"I'm hoping to be ready for the games against Tranmere and QPR over Easter."
