NCM were the first to reveal Notts' interest and now the deal has completed joining the David Pipe transfer story in which NCM were first again.

Butcher, alike with most of Steve Thompson's summer signings, has agreed to a two-year contract and takes his place on the pre-season tour of Devon Notts started yesterday.

The experienced 26-year-old former Lincoln City idol is said to have cost £10,000.
