Brown in Staggering form

Stags striker Brown scored a first half hat-trick to move Mansfield further away from relegation trouble.

Two strikes and a header helped Town to a comprehensive 5-0 win over Macclesfield.

The pacey front man got his fourth of the season and now has 23 for the club.

Brown in celebratory mood
Brown has struggled for goal scoring form since his move from non-league Kiddeminster though.

His pace makes him difficult to deal with and alongside Michael Boulding - who is perfect foil for a player like Brown.

Boss Billy Dearden will be hoping Saturday's hat-trick will kick-start his goal scoring record.

Countless good games have been let down by poor finishing.

He is always a threat and has arguably been in his best career form so far this term.

A lack of goals have maybe marred this.

There can be no arguing with his all-round performance against the Silkmen though.
